Megan Auby Speech Therapy & Audiology provides speech therapy and audiology services of the highest quality to adults, children, and families. Individuals that receive services at our practice are treated using an evidence-based approach. Involvement of the family within the therapy session is highly encouraged. Our goal is to achieve better communication and better learning opportunities for individuals by empowering them and their families.
What is Audiology
Audiology is a service provided by an audiologist to assess adults’ and children’s hearing abilities. Audiologists also provide management if a hearing loss is detected. Services we offer include: *Full diagnostic hearing tests for adults and children *Full diagnostic hearing tests for industrial workers *Hearing screenings conducted at primary schools and nursery schools *Wax removal *Earplugs ( musician, noise, and swim plugs) *Tympanometry (Middle Ear Evaluation) *Hearing aid fittings
What is Speech Therapy?
Speech therapy is a type of therapy provided by a speech-language therapist to help children improve their communication skills, academic performance as well as feeding ability. The types of difficulties the children we work with include delayed language development, speech difficulties, hearing loss, feeding problems, auditory processing difficulties, and literacy issues. We also see children with genetic syndromes such as Down syndrome, as well as children with Autism, and children with Cerebral Palsy.
